Daisy Hill Academy offers full and part-time programs for children ages six weeks to five years. School Age care for children up to age seven is available during ISD holidays and summers on a limited availability basis.
Daisy Hill supports the standards and predictors of high quality early childhood education programs as established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), Child Protective Services, Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. We work diligently to ensure our center consistently meets or exceeds those indicators of a high quality ECE program. |
Family-Centered PhilosophyDaisy Hill's service model is based on a family-centered approach. This model operates on the premise that the optimal pre-school environment provides services that meet the needs of the child, as well as those of the family. We have developed an army of innovative services that support both children and their families.

Educational PhilosophyDaisy Hill's curriculum is based on the integration of proven educational practices and developmental theories from Montessori, Piaget, Waldorf, and Reggio Emilia. When designing our curriculum, our purpose was not to subscribe to one particular theory or set of activities (e.g., a pre-packaged curriculum), but rather select the best from an array of respected, successful methods for teaching young children. Our holistic, integrated early education programs provide a composite of actives to address all facets of a child's development:
Working within this holistic, integrated framework, our teachers utilize a diagnostic-prescriptive teaching method when developing specific learning activities based on a weekly theme approach. |
